More recently I have developed an interest in black and white photography. I was always attracted to Film Noir in cinema and I think that the shadows and contrasts, along with the lack of distracting colour in those films, allow you to really see the essence of the charcaters and places, as well as creating a certain mood. I think the same applies in photography.
